Regeneration proposals can affect a large number of people who have had no formal training in design or planning.
We can support these communities with tailor-made workshops that will prepare them for engaging in the regeneration process, from acquiring a basic understanding of how to read technical drawings, to informing the detailed brief for an urban design project based on an appreciation of best practice principles.
We offer the following three workshops which can be commissioned individually or as a package as appropriate for your project.
Our Design Awareness Training gives communities an understanding of the essential design and planning issues and the confidence to discuss proposals with their urban design consultants.
Our Brief Development Workshops and Design Inspiration Visits not only widen the community's understanding of urban design, but also help to bring the community together as they get to take part in shared, inspiring activities that explore different aspects of building design.
